We intended to go to an amazing beach that the neighbors took me and the kids to, but that didn't happen. We got really close to the beach and found some cones in the road. Typical of Costa Rica they had to lay a pipe se they just put up cones in the middle of the day dug of the road (I guess it was only dirt, and very rough dirt at that). I just wonder what happened to anyone who had already made it down to the beach?? So we visited the hotel that Stace and I stayed at on our honeymoon, went down to the main beach, and then went out to dinner.
This was taken at the hotel where Stace and I spent 6 nights on our honeymoon. We have a pic at home in this SAME exact spot that the kids have seen and thought we'd duplicate almost 11 years later.
This was taken from the exact room we stayed in. We have tons of pics of this view, with Stace in a hammock which they have now moved.
We bought a "pipas" (fresh coconut) to drink the milk and then eat the fruit. The kids were excited to get it, but only Alex liked it. I don't blame them because I don't like it either!
On our way to dinner we passed these Brahmas. They are so amazing looking. The kids love them.
We got to "Ronny's Place" right before the sun went down and rain started. The restaurant is well know for it's view, and we saw a bit of it before the storm. During our dinner the electricity went out 2 times, which isn't uncommon here.
Hey look, I'm in a picture!
